Soon after that last one, the seatbelt lights came on and we had to pack up.

I had fully intended to finish it off when we got in but I was just sooooo tired!

So here ends our adventure to Egypt, and this holiday blog. We’re off to Croatia next week, so no doubt I’ll keep a diary there, too, and update Smiths on Holiday very soon!

9.23pm - Oooo we can see English lights! We’re over Norfolk. I was just demonstrating to Livvie how they all talk like faaarrrrrmers down here (<- said with the accent, please!)

9pm - The Blind Side was BRILLIANT! A real lovely, feel-good type of film. It’s about a big black boy who’s had a rough life and is taken in by a white Christian family (mother played by Sandra Bullock) who teach him how to play American Football. We all thoroughly enjoyed it, I definitely recommend it! In other news, I just accidentally tipped a cup of water all over Livvie’s knees. Oops. =D We’re also 185 miles from landing (30 minutes), hurrah!

6.40pm - Alvin and the Chipmunks was rubbish, of course! It still made me giggle a few imes, though =D Dinner was looovely, we LIKE aeroplane food! They’re playing ‘The Blind Side’ now, we’re going to watch that.

5pm - The aeroplane’s movie is ‘Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakual,’ which Liv says we MUST watch.

4.57pm - “A few times you been round that track, but your bum’s still fat, it’s gonna tay like that!” How rude. (To the tune of Gwen Stefani’s ‘Hollaback Girl’, if any of you know it!)

4.54pm - Going to sing some songs you might not know for a bit now. “We gotta fight fight fight fight fight for this love!”

(Note: This song is by Cheryl Cole, whose footballer husband was publically caught cheating on her a few months after this song was released. Oh, the irony!)

4.48pm - Haha, Livvie forgot the Pizza Hut dance! Remember she used to do it all the time? “A Pizza Hut, a Pizza Hut, Kentucky Fried Chicken and a Pizza Hut!”

4.45pm - HOLD UP, WAIT A MINUTE, PUT A LITTLE LURVE IN IT! <- Song lyrics. In capitals partly because the song is a bit shouty, but mostly because Livvie’s turned the iPod volume waaaaay up.

4.43pm - “The music video to this song is set on an aeroplane…!” She’s put on that song that goes “mia heeee, mia hooooo, mia haaaa, mia ha ha!” Current distance to destintion: 3704km.

4.41pm - Okay, now I’m doing the dance too. It’s catchy!

4.39pm - Livvie has one of my earphones and control of the music. She’s put the Macarena on. She’s doing the dance.
